The province’s only indoor amusement park is part of the attraction at the Woodbine Centre, where Fantasy Fair offers nine full-sized rides and a children’s play village alongside the 165 shops and services. The Bay, Sears and Zellers are the anchor stores, and many of the retailers cater to the same kids (and parents) as the carnival rides, including a food court and J.J. Muggs restaurant.
Family Environment
Fashion stores at Woodbine Centre lean toward activewear from places like Athletes World and Foot Locker, along with casual clothing stores like Jean Machine and the Gap. Rainbow Cinemas screens the latest animated and action flicks at discounted family-friendly prices. Toyland, EB Games and Music World are a few of the fun-filled shops providing the essentials for home entertainment. The mall also features a farmer’s market each Friday during the warmer months.
Classic Amusements
Woodbine Centre’s Fantasy Fair provides young riders with a full day pass that provides unlimited access to the mechanical action, along with individual ride tickets that never expire. Parties are readily accommodated in the play area, including a private room for up to 65 guests. The space is designed to reflect a village square from the turn of the 20th century, including a 1911 antique Looff carousel, Fantasy Flight balloon tower ride, and Ferris wheel that soars 50-feet into the air. Also, an express train chugs along the winding track stretching through the park.
