A 21st century addition to the retail mall scene in the Greater Toronto Area, the Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre is packed with famous international names and local favourites, plus restaurants and recreation. The centre was the first location for several chains, including Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, the Lucky Strike Lanes Bowling alley, a NASCAR Speed Park, and the Johnny Rockets eatery.
Lots to Explore
The most prominent tenants at Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre cater to members of the entire family in this growing residential community. Designer Depot, UpCountry, Holt Renfrew’s Last Call, the Children’s Place, La Senza, H&M, Pro Hockey Life, Babies “R” Us, Winners, Homesense, Old Navy, and Linens and Things fill the larger store. And, along with the bowling alley and virtual NASCAR track, there’s a billiard hall. Full-service restaurants include Eggspectation and Houston Steaks & Ribs, while the Roadside Picnic food court features familiar fast tastes from A&W to KFC.
Vaughan Mils Shopping Centre hosts regular community events, ranging from literacy promotions to model searches to art classes. There’s also a popular walking program to help people stay in shape in a climate controlled one-level continuous course. The mall even furnishes accommodation packages at local hotels for families who want to make a day out at the mall a highlight of their trip.
