At the southern edge of the city, where Toronto meets Lake Ontario, sits the beautiful Westin Harbour Castle. Pass through its elegant lobby into The Mizzen restaurant. For breakfast, lunch or dinner, The Mizzen offers a simple yet creative menu in a laid-back setting. The large space is divided into smaller seating areas for a cozier effect, and the brightly coloured walls welcome hungry guests. Wood floors and chairs complement the nature-themed art and terra-cotta tiled buffet area, creating a rustic feel.
Choices, Choices, and More Choices
In addition to its a la carte menu, The Mizzen has extensive breakfast and lunch buffets. To start the day off right, the breakfast buffet includes a made-to-order omelette and egg station, along with pancakes, pastries, fresh fruit, and cereals. At lunch, find three hot entrees including a carving station, fresh pastas, vegetables, soup, salad, and desserts. The wide variety of options is sure to include something for everyone to enjoy. For children, the buffet is half the price with all the options.
Creative Continental
If diners prefer to focus their attention on a single dish, they may order from The Mizzen’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner a la carte menus. Standard breakfast foods are served with a twist, like maple baked apple pancake, or a crab meat omelette. Lunch features an assortment of lighter foods, such as a classic Cobb salad and the signature Westin chicken club sandwich. Carnivores will love dinner entrees like beef tenderloin and mustard roasted pork chop. For those who would like an alternative to meat n’ potatoes, options to try include creamy mushroom risotto, angel hair pasta tossed with seafood, or cod n’ chips. Little ones will love PB&J, grilled cheese and chicken crisps.
