Quick fix economical catering for the office or home is Select’s specialty, with noontime orders accepted up to two hours in advance. The breakfast specials include a “Rise and Shine” platter with assorted baked goods plus butter, jam and cream cheese spreads, a bagel platter served with tomatoes and various cheeses, a dairy platter with mounds of tuna, salmon and egg salad, and the smoked salmon platter – each designed to serve 10, 15 or 20 people. For lunch, the sandwich platters are available with buns or wraps to hold everything together, with all the staple cold cuts for filling along with carrots, celery, pickles, olives and mints. Gourmet sandwiches are served on foccacia buns or multi grain breads, with flavours such as asiago roast beef, chicken with bacon and feta or turkey cranberry stuffed in between. Box lunches and party sandwiches are also available, allowing for selected sandwiches to be devoured in a fashion that best suits the setting.

More extravagant platters are also furnished by Select – deli meat (including a low-carb version), a wide range of cheeses, bite-sized vegetables accompanied by a medley of dips, chicken fingers or chicken wings, juicy jumbo shrimp layered on a pineapple, and hors d’oeuvres with regular or deluxe variations.
