Largest of its Kind
With 40 galleries of art, archaeology and natural science, and an internationally renowned collection containing more than five million objects, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is the largest museum in Canada. Located on one of the most fashionable corners in Toronto and next to the University of Toronto, the ROM is a popular destination. From galleries of art, archaeology and science, showcasing the world’s culture and natural history, to exciting public programs and events, the ROM offers a truly engaging museum experience.

ROM Museum Store
The ROM Museum Store will complete the visitor’s experience of the ROM’s roster of special exhibitions. The ROM’s permanent collections of natural history and world cultures will also be well represented in the retail outlet, to be located on the Museum’s second floor. In 2007, a new addition was made to the museum in the form of the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal. This wing has seven gallery spaces on four floors, two special exhibitions as well as retail and dining facilities.

A Taste of Italy?
Complementing an exhibition of Italian Art and Design, the ROM Museum Store celebrates Italian culture through a diverse representation of designers and brands, such as Richard Sapper, Michele De Lucchi, Michael Graves, Ettore Sottsass, Alessi, and Tizio. Lighting, home décor, collectibles, jewellery and books are available for purchase, including the stunning exhibition catalogue, Il Modo Italiano: Italian Design and Avant-garde in the 20th Century.
