Many Call it Home
As the home venue for the Jays, the Toronto Argonauts, and the former home of the Toronto Raptors basketball team as well, the Rogers Centre has seen action most days and nights of the week since it first opened its doors in 1989. This domed structure has also hosted events for the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and Harry Potter author JK Rowling, as well as the Rolling Stones, U2 and Britney Spears.

This Place Has Seen Its Share of Stars
As the stadium was built with the world's first fully retractable roof, the novelty of its opening was boosted by the legendary Toronto Blue Jays winning streak which led to two World Series championship banners, now hanging proudly from the stadiums rafters.With a seating capacity of over 65,000 and a roof that covers eight acres, the Rogers Centre is definitely huge to say the least. With flexible seating on the first level, the Rogers Centre transforms to more appropriately serve the needs of each event, with configurations for both arena-style and intimate concerts, football and baseball games, and special events.

Housing three large fine dining restaurants – all of which overlook the field – as well as a Hard Rock Café and innumerable concession stands offering fast food, beer, and the ubiquitous baseball hotdog, visitors certainly won't go hungry at the Rogers Centre - provided they’re ready to pay the price, of course.
