Reposado is a long, skinny bar with exposed brick walls and low, ambient lighting. In addition to their drink selection, Reposado is known for offering Mexican-style jazz. The restaurant has a live band every night of the week and cover is always pay-what-you-can. The menu consists of a short list of tapas including a tequila-cured salmon plate served with crostini and spicy pickles, homemade chips and dip, a cheese plate and chorizo with feta tapenade. Kitchen staff will work out special dinner menus for large groups and private parties. Call to find out about details and pricing information.
Try the Tequila
Reposado stocks a few varieties of red and white wines and champagne for those who aren’t into the tequila. For those who are however: try the four “Copas Blanco,” a Mexican-made tequila that’s been branded the world’s first organic tequila. Don Julio’s premium tequila is aged five years in oak barrels and his limited edition 1942 is also available. You’ll find a selection of Jose Cuervo varieties, as well as Sauza and Patron tequila. Reposado takes great pride in the fact that their tequilas are high-end and made from 100% blue agave; a plant that grows for almost a decade before it’s harvested. Try the tequila in shot form or have it mixed into a margarita but beware –once you’ve had Reposado-quality Tequila, you may never be able to go back to run-of-the-mill rail shots again!
