Bringing the taste of wine country to the core of the financial district, Reds is a two-level space that incorporates both a café and bar and bistro inspired by the wine regions of the world. France and Italy, Spain and Portugal, California and Niagara are all represented in the cellar and on the tables. The restaurant also features a chef’s table and private rooms, plus seasonal table d’hôte offerings.
Pairing Delights
The bar area of Reds offers a vast choice of white and red wines along with an inspired selection of small plates, each paired with a complementary glass. Crisp hand cut fries, breads, crisps and dips, pork taquitos and ginger and scallion stuff chicken wings are some of the transcendent tapas offerings. Fish and chips, beef burgers, bangers and mash, a grilled cheese sandwich and grilled flank steak.
Enthusiastic Entrées
Reds can do all the work of putting the perfect meal items together, through their prixe fixe lunches and dinners, along with the wine pairing expertise. A midday meal can start with a smoked salmon club, braised leek and potato soup, sautéed tiger shrimp, crisp dunk confit, and green curry scented crab cake. Salmon filet, grilled yellowfin tuna, pan roasted Scottish cod, black tiger shrimp, rosemary roasted chicken and grilled pork chops are among the sophisticated main courses. Dinner appetizers include roasted shrimp bisque, foie gras and sea scallops. Lobster tail, double smoked bacon-wrapped venison and oven roasted lamb chops are a few of the dinner mains that are dressed to perfection.
