No-Nonsense Thai Prepared the Traditional Way
Real Thailand has a long history on Bloor Street, and has been serving up big portions of Thai eats to a loyal clientele of locals and Thai food lovers from all over the city since 2000. The dim and cozy dining room is a great spot to sip a Thai beer and dig into a bowl of spicy goodness, and if the weather is warm enough, you can also dine on the small sidewalk patio - just be prepared to have curious passersby look longingly at your plate!

Delicious Tried and True Dishes
Real Thailand has a menu rich with several options, but you won’t go wrong with the basics, like hot and sour soup, curries, and pad thai – an authentic, no ketchup version that has a lot of complexity without being spicy. If you want to venture beyond the tried and true options, there’s interesting options on all sections of the menu, including several unique preparations of fried rice, pineapple salad, and duck curry.

Lunch Combos Offer Great Value
One of the best times to visit Real Thailand is at lunch, where you can dig into one of their lunch combos, which come with spring rolls and soup for a very competitive price. The specials are posted on the board outside the restaurant and change regularly, but you can count on a few types of Pad Thai and a meat curry.
