Fit for Starfleet
Founded by Adriana Fulop and Ryan Webber in 2001, Plastik Wrap sells cyberpunk industrial fashion for men and women. The online and retail business features layered fashions resembling the futuristic uniforms on shows like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. They design both men’s and women’s clothing with a flair for tight-fitting, body-flattering shaping, and space-age details like layering, flaps and accessories.

Cosplay Creations
Located a few blocks south of Dundas West subway station, the retail location also offers a number of the items available for order online. You’ll find a gamut of dress shirts (albeit suited for a masquerade black-tie or Star Trek Cosplay), pants, three-quarter length shorts, armbands, headbands, dresses and more. The boutique also features OOAK designs and limited edition runs of shopper-favourite designs. The clothes are designed and manufactured in Canada, though the brand has gathered a following throughout the United States as well.

Cyber Influences
Plastik Wrap has a wide range of influences, from cyber and industrial to punk and Lolita. The brand strives to support public diversity through the development of their unique fashions. They have gathered a sizable reputation within underground cultures like punk and goth across the planet. In addition to the retail store at Dundas West, Plastik Wrap sells its wears both online and through private stores, like some of the punk fashion shops along Queen West and Bloor Street.
