Lots of Lunch Options
Located in the same building that formerly housed Leslie and Finch’s infamous Jade Dynasty, Paradise Chinese Cuisine is open for dim sum lunches from Monday to Friday and dinner seven days a week. The spacious dining room is decorated in shades of white and gold, accented by many mirrors, and outfitted with tables of all shapes –the better to accommodate groups of all sizes. This is authentic Chinese dining at its best. Simply satisfied dumpling lovers will enjoy the dim sum menu, while those looking for something new will thrill at the traditional dishes. Try the million-year-old egg –an egg that’s been fermented in a marinade of ashes, clay, salt, rice straw and lime, or a steaming bowl of rice cha siu bau; steamed buns stuffed with either meat or veggie filling.

Keep it Simple
Of course, there are standard, stir-fry esque dishes for the unadventurous as well. Ribs with pepper and black bean sauce are deliciously hot, while the steamed rice noodle rolls come full of meat or veggies, just waiting to soak up a good dose of soy sauce. The myriad dim sum options bear more mentioning than there’s space to do here. Try an order of supreme dumplings in soup with shark fin, sticky rice with chicken in lotus leaf, or one of a few congee dishes. Congee is a super filling rice porridge served chunks of peanut, egg, fish and more. Tea is served with every meal but the restaurant is also licensed and serves a variety of beverages.
