From the kitchen of the theatre district’s subterranean Asian restaurant comes a catering menu designed for wedding receptions, corporate functions or informal get-togethers, with a dedication to creating ideal flavour combinations. The lunch menu matches suitable appetizers and desserts with mains including shrimp and chicken pad Thai with coriander, green onions, chilies, peanuts, julienne vegetables or pan seared red snapper with shitake and soya marinade, mushroom and basil fried rice, steamed broccoli and ginger vinaigrette. For dinner look for veal wrapped sushi grade loin tuna, lobster stuffed with sweetbreads and smoked cod wrapped in Serrano ham among other things.
Station to Sensation
For larger events with at least 125 guests, Monsoon can facilitate a sushi and noodle bar, and crepe, dim sum and satay station. There is also a station dedicated to dessert, which incorporates a selection of pastry and chocolate miniatures. Gatherings of 30 or more can opt for cocktail menus that incorporate the beef, poultry, pork and seafood options in miniature, encouraging all to relish a range of the flavourful creations that have made Monoon a sensual sensation among local foodies.
