Star Studded
Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, the Molson Amphitheatre was immediately established as Toronto’s premier venue for live touring artists when it opened in 1995. The facility has reserved seating for 9,000, with room on the lawn for an additional 7,000 people. Along with tickets for individual events, seasonal VIP box suites and club suites are available for purchase, ensuring a premium seat at events throughout the summer. The on-site bar and rooftop patio, dubbed the Voodoo Garden, provides a place to hang out before and after a show, with full concession stand service available during a concert. The amphitheatre features video panels that allow the crowd to keep tabs on the onstage action when they can’t see it up close, along with smaller monitors scattered throughout the venue.

Night Sounds
Since the first concert with Bryan Adams in May 1995, the Molson Amphitheatre has played host to virtually every major touring act. The proximity to the water enhances the summertime atmosphere, especially when night starts falling as the headliners take to the stage. Classic and alternative rock, hip-hop and R&B, country and jazz acts have all drawn large crowds in this setting, accessible by all methods of transportation. Most events experience brisk ticket sales for the desirable seats, while some concerts allow for last-minute walk-up admission.

World’s Fair
The Molson Amphitheatre’s main events are booked by House of Blues Concerts Canada, which secures the rights to most superstar tours across the country. The latest chart toppers, perennial summertime favourites, and multi-act bills of established and emerging artists who cross the continent each summer usually find themselves performing here. Concert tickets include complimentary entrance to the Ontario Place amusement park throughout the season. And the Molson Amphitheatre maintains the tradition of booking big shows during the two weeks of the Canadian National Exhibition, which incorporate free admission to the fair.
