This upscale watering hole is always packed with local businessmen, visiting celebs, and locals. They come for the seafood-loaded dishes and premium marinated custom aged steaks.
Saffron and Vanilla Rice
This bi-level food emporium, with a large, headed veranda, is the place regulars go for delicious food and good company. Working fireplaces, exposed brick walls, and an open-concept bar set the upscale but relaxing vibe. Fresh fish from around the globe, and premium aged steaks along with hand shucked oysters are standouts on Miller’s large-sized menu. Seafood enthusiasts will adore the grilled organic salmon caught in Ireland, and the jumbo sea scallops from Nova Scotia. All fish entrees are served with saffron and vanilla rice, fresh herb and caper coulis, topped with spiced red pepper vinaigrette. Equally as tempting are the tender premium steaks aged for a minimum of eight weeks for extra juiciness. Choose from beef tenderloin, New York striploin, rib steak or t-bone.
The World is Their Oyster.
You can’t come to Miller’s without trying their famous fresh hand shucked oysters. These tasty babies are served on ice with classic cocktail sauce, champagne raspberry mignonette, and horseradish. Malpeque Bay P.E.I oysters and a number of other worldly favourites are served a la carte. Be sure to check out Miller’s seasonal plates that boast exotic entrees like the seafood pad Thai, and the spicy chicken curry. Not to be missed is the mouthwatering pumpkin ravioli. This dish is loaded with Ontario apples, sour cherries, and toasted pecans in a rich apple cider cream sauce. For an exotic starter try the spiced butternut squash soup with ginger cream, or the bruschetta topped with an artichoke and goat cheese spread.
