Custom Meals
A personal dining experience has been offered since the early 1980’s at Michael’s Back Door, an Italian restaurant that has built a loyal clientele amidst its upscale décor and romantic atmosphere. There is an upstairs room featuring live music on the weekends that can also be booked for private functions. The menu includes special three, four or five-course meals, all of which can be customized.

Italian Inspiration
Lunch at Michael’s Back Door starts with a soup like minestrone or cream of potato and butternut squash. Pasta dishes include cannelloni, penne alla vodka, spinach gnocchi, spaghettini bolognese and angel hair pasta in a special lobster tomato cream sauce. Grilled chicken panini, a spinach omelette and grilled chicken are among the lighter entrées. Pan-seared bass fish medallions, veal ragout and large black tiger shrimp and scallops are the larger lunchtime options.

Back Door Dinnner
Michael’s Back Door broadens the menu each evening: veal scaloppini, black Angus steak, pan-seared veal tenderloin and roasted rack of lamb are some of the choices. Pan-seared basa, shrimp and scallops and Dover sole entrées are prepared with delectable sauces. And the pasta choices include homemade crepes filled with ricotta and spinach, penne with roasted bacon and chicken and linguini featuring large black tiger shrimps and scallops in a tomato basil sauce. Homemade cheesecake and ice cream are just a couple of the dessert options.
