Love Me, Love My Child
In case you couldn’t see it from the street, Lovechild is that store on Yonge Street with the lime green exterior. That’s right – lime green! The store’s sign extends a full storey above the ground, a giant pink heart with lilac script reading ‘Lovechild’. That’s a way to create a statement, for sure. And you and your little ones will certainly create a fun statement wearing Lovechild togs. In case you weren’t sure the store sold children’s clothes, you will also see an old-fashioned stroller parked in front, decorated with hand-painted flowers. There’s always a fun display happening in the windows, with cute and colourful clothing strung up in different ways.

That’s the slogan of Lovechild, and the designers behind the brand create and sew everything on-site. In the back of the shop you’ll find sewing machines, and this hands-on approach works well. Being able to control the clothing from sketch to finished product allows Lovechild to bring your child the freshest styles. Designs, colours, and styles are always appropriate for each season, and the designers pride themselves in their fast turnaround time. Baby bibs with different mottos, slogans, prints and colours will liven up any feeding time.

Clothing items for girls feature a mélange of styles and colours. If it’s pink she wants, it’s pink she’ll get – but what about aqua, turquoise, lime or purple?
