Profile Last Updated: March 18, 2008
This gorgeous restaurant and bar, which sits just on the outskirts of swanky Yorkville, offers customers high-quality food, service and drinks without the stuffy atmosphere. Lobby, the concept for which was inspired by boutique hotel lobbies, is separated into five spaces – each of which has a unique appeal. In the “lobby-lounge” patrons can sip martinis on plush sofas year-round, while the boulevard patio is the perfect place to people-watch on a hot, summer day.
Indulge Your Palate
In the white room, Lobby serves up sinful meals inspired by traditional French cooking. Items such as roasted lamb sirloin with charred tomato coulis and chèvre brûlée grace the menu alongside gourmet comfort food that is just like Mom used to make… only better. Diners swoon over the creamy, macaroni and asiago cheese and the Kobe sirloin burger served on a brioche bun with truffle mayo - two of Lobby’s most popular menu items.
Gallery Space
Lobby’s gallery area showcases work by some of the country’s best up-and-coming artists and for those wishing to escape the crowds, the “lower-lobby” space serves as a private champagne room with a personal bartender. Lobby is a place to indulge; to see and be seen while enjoying fine food and a great atmosphere.
