Kazuo Fashions has been quietly occupying a conspicuous spot at the peak of fashion proliferation on Queen Street West for many years and counting. Striving to offer a shopping experience similar to that of an English boutique, Kazuo indeed presents an intimate setting for shopping, measuring in at a modest 100 square feet. Despite these unassuming dimensions, Kazuo carries a selection of fashions for both men and women aged between 18 and 50 for occasions ranging from casual to formal.
A Wide Selection, But Nothing Extraneous
Splitting the long retail floor about 50/50 in terms of men’s clothing versus women’s clothing, Kazuo is a good place to stop by for formal occasions for either gender. For younger women, Kazuo has a selection of grad dresses and prom dresses, as well as suits for their male counterparts. For more casual wear, Kazuo carries well known brands such as Dekker and Quick Reflex. In order to keep a good selection of clothing, Kazuo have kept peripheral items pared down. They don’t bother with footwear, and have limited their selection of accessories to a few belts and ties, and some hats and scarves during the wintertime.
Uncommon Designers
As a good boutique should, Kazuo has focused on carrying items that likely won’t be carried at many other clothing stores around the city. In addition to the better-known labels mentioned above, Kazuo also carries lesser-known designers that occupy more daring fashion territory. European brands at Kazuo include Danish designers 4 You, as well as upscale casual menswear designers Matinique.
