After years on Yonge Street, Healthwinds Spa is closing its doors and moving to Mount Pleasant. Their new location, in the Chateau Royal, is accessible via an elaborately landscaped entrance off Manor Road. The spa space itself has an air of peacefulness about it, aided by natural sunlit rooms and bamboo and stone floors. Fireplaces and water walls make great places to sit and relax before or after treatments. Come early to enjoy the atmosphere, or stay late to enjoy a complimentary steam in the locker rooms.

Whether it’s an office bonding experience, a group of friends heading out for an afternoon of indulgence, or a pre-wedding party, Healthwinds’ newly expanded manicure and pedicure area accommodates small groups easily. Same goes for those in search of specialty treatments like body polishes and wraps. Massage therapy is a big draw at Healthwinds, particularly the super specialized pregnancy and sports massages. The most exclusive packages are the hydrotherapy treatments, including the hydro bath, six jet shower, body wrap and body polish. Each of these procedures is administered by a Registered Massage Therapist.
