Foodies and regulars adore the Harbord House for a number of reasons. Here, homemade gourmet comfort food takes centre stage. Local craft beers and wines have never tasted so good. And two patios with a view ensure there is never a dull moment. See for yourself what all the fuss is about!
Why Fool with Perfection?
The Harbord’s small but mouthwatering menu features your typical pub favourites - but with a twist. On the appetizer menu, discover French onion soup loaded with a trio of caramelized onions, thyme and apples, and the crab cakes are served with a spicy remoulade. Crispy Buffalo shrimp gets flavourful with a lime horseradish cocktail sauce, while chicken wings taste divine slathered in fiery scotch bonnet sauce. You haven’t tried sweet potato fries until you enjoyed them with a mouthwatering maple Dijon dip. It is simply out of this world! Calamari served with lemon saffron aioli and a handful of healthy salads loaded with candied pecans and goat cheese completes a fantastic starters menu.
A Sweet Ending
It is the little extras such as the homemade sauces and gorgeous presentation that takes Harbord to another level. Your typical club sandwich is twisted into a visual extravaganza, with double smoked bacon, cranberry mayo and the most tender roast turkey around. The pulled pork sandwich is slowly roasted to perfection in spicy barbeque sauce. while the vegetarian burger gets flavourful with roasted artichoke relish. Meat lovers can’t resist the grilled baby back ribs rubbed with smoky chipotle BBQ sauce or the juicy grilled 9 oz. certified Angus New York striploin. Vegetarian chili, potato crusted salmon and spicy duck vindaloo complete a fantastic menu. For a sweet ending try the homemade apple blueberry crumble.
