This shop’s founders have over 40 years of tattooing experience between them. These well-travelled entrepreneurs have done ink around the world. As a result, Great Canadian has hosted guest artists from Asia, the US and Europe. Normally, the shop has three tattoo artists and one piercer on duty at all times. Walk-ins are accepted, but custom tattoo work will require at least one pre-tattooing consultation. This is necessary for Great Canadian artists to counsel customers on tattoo design and location, discuss the repercussions of a bad positioning choice and consider colour and size options.
All Kinds of Art
All artists at Great Canadian can adopt whatever style you’re after, but browse their online portfolios to see which forms, styles, colours and designs really fire them up. Women who don’t feel comfortable being tattooed by a man can request Sarah—the shop’s single female artist.
Piercing Prices
Tattoos are priced depending on the complexity of the project and the length of time they take to complete. Consult individual artists for estimates. Great Canadian piercings are done according to set prices—you can get everything from helix to eyebrow to labret, tongue, nipple, medusa, earlobe, tragus and more. If it’s your first time, you’ll get plenty of advice about aftercare. Great Canadian is proudly committed to quality, sterility and professionalism. The shop is clean and comfortable for first-timers, as well as completely covered customers. Stop by to look over their existing designs or hash out some ideas with the artists.
