Meet George
Anyone looking for a unique dining experience should get to know George. From the gourmet tasting menu and the extensive wine list to the warm atmosphere and incredibly accommodating staff, this restaurant sets itself apart from other establishments in Toronto.

Five Courses, Five Choices
George is not a place you go for a piece of chicken and a glass of chardonnay, it’s a place where you begin a gastronomical journey. Each meal at George is meant to be a memorable, individual experience. The menu is divided into 5 courses and for each course there are 5 choices. Diners are encouraged to select one or more items from each category to create a meal that caters to their individual cravings. For example, a diner could select the olive oil poached prawn with lemon thyme pasta and fava bean salad to start. This could be followed by the ricotta gnocchi with oven-baked tomatoes and brown butter, sugar pea relish, and the jasmine scented pork tenderloin with rainbow carrot slaw and smoked shallot jus. The meal is finished with a fourth course of gourmet cheese and a sinful dessert.

Create Your Own Meal
Diners who can’t decide which of George’s delectable menu items to opt for can forget the menu all together. George encourages its patrons to let servers know exactly what they are craving and the chef will then tailor an elaborate, individual meal to meet these guidelines. The staff at George says they will keep the food coming until you say “when.” George proves that gourmet food doesn’t always have to be served with attitude. This comfortable, upscale restaurant is truly a great place to embark on a dining adventure you will never forget.
