Formal and casual clothing and shoes can be found in several different shops and the mall is also home to Toronto’s Saturday Sportscard Show, featuring collectables and memorabilia each weekend. The shopping centre plays host to a walking program for neighbours aged 55 and up, through the Davenport/Perth community centre. Sidewalk sales are held throughout the year, and Santa Claus sets up shop in the Galleria on December weekends, offering personalized photos with children.

People Place
The Galleria’s surrounding are continues to be a settling ground for new immigrants to Toronto, reflected in the wide variety of languages spoken in the shopping centre. Like many such neighbourhoods in the city, it’s undergoing a transition that finds many new urban homeowners moving in alongside the previous generations of working class. With its range of shops and services, the Galleria is designed to provide all of the daily life essentials under one roof.
