Gabby’s—as local watering hole, family restaurant, and sports bar, appeals to everyone from all walks of life. Since 1989
Since 1989, the Gabby’s name has been popping up all over the Toronto region. Now, while growing into a capable restaurant chain with aspirations of further expansion, Gabby’s is a middle-of-the-road grill and bar, designed with the hope of satisfying just about everybody. The Bloor Street location, the largest of the Gabby’s franchises, can comfortably seat 250 patrons (including their two patio spaces).

Something for Pretty Much Everyone
The pub offers state-of-the-art NTN systems for the trivia junkie, 15 TVs, a big screen for sports fans, as well as a diverse pub menu that caters to carnivores and vegetarians alike. With their proximity to U of T, Yorkville and the ROM, Gabby’s attracts a varied clientele, from barfly, student, passer-by and tourist. Moderately priced and with sweet deals on daily specials, it’s no wonder Gabby’s appeals to both younger and older generations.

Tasty Practicality
As far as pub grub goes, Gabby’s covers all the bases. From burgers, sandwiches, salads, steak, wings and Tex-Mex, there’s something for everyone. The appetizer menu incorporates the standard finger food—potato skins, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, and garlic bread. With seven salads, available with or without meat, Gabby’s makes its own variations, like the Thai mango and oven-baked goat cheese varieties. The thin-crust pizzas, stone baked and made fresh to order, are among the more recent additions to the menu. Chocolate supreme bundt cake and tartufo ice cream are available for the sweet tooth, and weekend brunch offers soul food for the hangover. Also proffering a late-night menu, wine, spirits, and—of course—beer by the pint and pitcher, Gabby’s utilitarian attitude makes for the greatest happiness for the greatest number.
