Fluid is one of the few Toronto nightclubs to feature themed nights five days a week since its inception in 1995. Founded in the spring of that year by Dean Holdip and Moses Sabatino, the club caters to Toronto’s multicultural audience of clubbers with a main dance floor and casual lounging room.
Funk, Soul and R&B
On Wednesdays, you’ll find classic and current house tracks spinning in the main room for the dancers. The sensual lounge caters to the classic funk, soul and R&B crowd. Thursdays feature hip hop in the main room, with more soul and old school in the lounge.
Weekend Revelry
Fridays often feature special guests or DJ B-day parties, so guest lists fill up early. You can generally expect Latin vibes in the second room to accompany the changing main event. Mainstream music fans looking for Top 40 should try Saturdays in the main area, while reggae and old school spin in the second room. The party doesn’t slow down on Sundays, where DJs are spinning a large variety of house music with guest DJs and live beats.
