Part of the Firkin chain, this traditional style pub is home to the University of Toronto crowd and also a reflection of Toronto’s diverse community. The large heated patio provides a relaxing atmosphere after a busy class or day of work. In addition to the 20 TVs spread throughout the pub, the back room houses an 8 foot television, a couple of pool tables, and a jukebox. In the front room you’ll find another pool table to throw your loonie on.
Darts, Trivia, and Music, Oh My!
The TVs lend themselves well to NTN trivia Tuesdays. If you are the lucky winner you might land yourself a Firkin gift certificate. Or maybe darts are more your speed - the Ferret is known for its strategic dart board set-up. On most Thursdays you can play your trivia or darts to live music, mainly rock and jazz.
Special Pub Fare
Every Firkin has a standard menu, with many locations serving additional items. The traditional menu includes full meal items such as Sheppard’s Pie and Bangers and the Firkin Steak Sandwich. The Ferret feeds its customers their favourites by featuring ten daily specials that rotate throughout the week, including a number of vegetarian selections. A popular special is the Monday Madness Burger, which includes fries.
