Light as a Feather
Feathers Bed & Breakfast is located in the northern reaches of the Annex, an area that mixes downtown culture with the quiet tranquility of a residential neighbourhood. With its classic red brick façade and exquisitely maintained garden, the exterior of Feathers Bed & Breakfast is consistent with many of the other homes in the neighbourhood. Inside, there are plenty of intriguing fixtures. Art and antiques from all over the world are scattered throughout the home. Everything is taken care of with zeal by the two fun-loving hosts, May and Max.

Some Unreal Housemates
Breakfast involves a fruit dish and fresh wholegrain bread, a nutritious food boost that complements the surroundings. Feathers Bed & Breakfast is located in the shadow of Toronto’s only castle, Casa Loma, and packs in a similar quality of ornate indulgences. Life sized soft sculpture dolls sit in living room chairs, antique puppets, dolls and figurines from around the world are scattered on the main floor, and Japanese chests and Persian carpets augment the Victorian atmosphere. One of the rooms also acts as a self contained studio apartment, complete with its own entrance. Feathers Bed and Breakfast is also just a short jaunt away from the subway, allowing guests the opportunity to get pretty much anywhere in the city. For those guests who don’t mind a bit of a stroll, the quirky boutiques, interesting bistros and hip bars of Bloor St. West make for a great hang-out spot—day or night.
