Located in Corso Italia, which some Torontonians call the “real Little Italy,” Eden Trattoria serves homemade Italian food and family hospitality. This neighbourhood is ideal for strolling, relaxing, and snacking – and Eden encourages this behaviour! Regular weekly specials and a competitively priced menu make it affordable to swing by after work for a snack, or brush off cooking dinner altogether. Promotions celebrate significant events – such as soccer games, of course – and invite neighbourhood regulars and folks from across town to hang out and have some fun.
Hearty, Home Cooked Italian Meals
The Italian sentiment welcomes patrons to eat heartily – starting with an appetizer. Here the antipasto selection is delightfully broad, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Pasta dishes are the stars of the menu, with ingredients that are fresh and simple, yet rich and hearty. Choose agnollotti stuffed with roasted garlic and ricotta, or grilled forest mushrooms served in a sundried tomato pesto. For something extra indulgent try the “Eden Pasta Al Forno” – rigatoni with proscuitto and mushrooms, smothered with mozzarella and baked in a rosé sauce. Pizza, panzarotto, and panini are other options. For meat-based entrées, favourites including chicken breast parmesan and veal scallopini prepared in traditional Italian style. A special Italian coffee, such as a cappuccino spiked with Sambuca, and homemade Italian ice cream are good choices to finish your meal.
Family, Serving Family
The family element is important to Eden Trattoria, because it’s completely family-run. Since opening in 1995, the ownership has continued to learn and grow – not just as a business, but as a family, too. They are proud to offer a family-friendly atmosphere and ensure that good service is consistent. As a plus, the large, year-round patio is fuelled by a relaxed, playful vibe that’s hard to resist.
