5 Decades of Building Champion Athletes
East York Gymnastics Club has been in operation for over five decades, and during that time, has produced 30 Provincial champions. The 28,000 square foot facility offers numerous programs for all ages, abilities, and levels of commitment to the sport. The gym employs 40 nationally certified coaches who have been hand picked for their teaching expertise and mastery of various forms of gymnastics.

There’s a Program Perfect for Every Athlete
East York Gym offers everything from drop-in classes for adults to intensive programs for athletes who wish to compete on a Provincial or National level. Mom and Dad can bring their budding gymnast or curious toddler for Parent and Tot and Kinder Gym classes, where toddlers interact with 5 different stations, including trampoline, uneven bars, balance beam, ropes, climbing blocks and tumbling mats. The gym also operates a full and half-day summer day camp program, summer recreational classes, and special holiday camps that run during March Break and the Holiday season.

Special Classes Focus on Specific Disciplines
The gym’s special classes are great for those who want an introduction to a specific discipline. Some of the classes are geared towards a specific age group, while others are for adults only. Available programs include acro, trampoline, and tumbling, as well as forms of dance like ballet and hip hop. The focused instruction these classes provide is great form of supplementary training for athletes in similar sports like figure skating and synchronized swimming, or for students with an interest in fitness and who can’t commit to an intense training schedule.
