In only a few short years Cru Restaurant has managed to make a name for itself as one of the city’s fine dining establishments to keep your eye on. Foodies adore this restaurant’s intricate fusion of flavours and delicately prepared dishes that resemble mini masterpieces. With a seasonally changing menu and an eye catching selection of wines, it won’t be long until Cru is your mind and lips…
Cru’s small but selective menu focuses on quality ingredients, fresh produce, and exotic game. The minute you step inside this architectural masterpiece with soft ochre-coloured walls you’ll feel at ease. On the appetizer menu savour Caesar salad drizzled with chipotle-dill dressing and topped with lemon pepper croutons and parmesan. Steamed mussels get jazzed up with almonds and leeks in an intoxicating Belgian beer brew. Exotic diners love the peppered bison carpaccio with pecorino. For a twist on your usual leafy greens, try the Nicoise salad with B.C white tuna, roasted tomatoes, green beans, and crispy poached quail egg.
Do the Twist
Each dish arriving out of the perfectionist kitchen arrives at your table resembling a mini masterpiece. Discover delicately prepared pastas along with a handful of fish delicacies such as the black cod with carrot and pea risotto cake, and the herbed ocean trout. For a tangy twist try the apple glazed quail with crispy fried sage or the organic Quebec pork in a maple chili glaze with apple slaw. A visit to Cru wouldn’t be complete with devouring the delicious Moroccan spiced lamb with dried fruit, minted cous cous and fragrant apricot. Reservations are recommended at this fine dining establishment.
