This internationally-acclaimed school, offers intensive hands-on courses ranging from two weeks to eight months, prepares students to work on film, theatre, beauty and television productions.
Ahh! Look at Your Scar!
Remember the hit movie E.T? With Complection’s animatronics course, create mechanized creations that move their eyes, mouth, body and tail with a remote control. Ever wonder how cuts and scars look so real and disgusting in the movies? Learn the secrets of creating deep gashes, third-degree burns, bullet wounds and stitches in the theatre and television course. This course focuses on special effects such as wig-making and facial hair knotting. Facial hair knotting involves creating sideburns, moustaches or beards by delicately knotting individual hairs onto netting.
Makeup Through the Ages
Complections highly-popular fashion photographic makeup course teaches you different makeup applications and hairstyling techniques for brides, runway models, and black and white photography. False eyelash application, makeup for mature skin and historical makeup from the 1920’s to 1990’s is covered. After completing this course, students can be employed as makeup artists for major department stores, fashion shows or in the bridal industry.
Showcase Your Talents
All courses that are six weeks in duration or longer include a mandatory photo shoot with a professional photographer. Real models from local talent agencies are brought you so you can showcase your talent. At the end of your course, students walk away with a professional portfolio that will open doors to future employment.
