Classic Cuisine
Proudly boasting itself as Toronto’s oldest coffee house, the Coffee Mill Restaurant has been serving up continental cuisine since 1963. Situated inside the 99 Yorkville shopping complex, the restaurant is a hidden gem among the many bistros in the area. Its quaint atmosphere and classical music provides an elegant experience indoors, while its courtyard with a beautiful centered fountain is a secluded space to wine and dine. A host of live music every weekend, and sporting a large menu proffering international and local fare, it’s no wonder why the Coffee Mill has been in business for over 40 years.

Take Your Pick
It’s all about variety – 15 salads from garden to fruit to roast beef, Hungarian veal paprikash, wiener or chicken schnizel, Flemish beef ragout, as well as quiche, seafood crepes and chili con carne. Sandwiches come in European salami, liver pate and krab salad flavours, to name a few. Always concocting new plates, chef specials are ever-changing from Monday to Friday.

Dessert Anyone?
Serving their own blend of house coffee, as well as espresso, latte, mocha and cappucino, the Coffee Mill offers their rendition of Viennese coffee and café coco. Specialty coffees are also on the menu, in Irish, Madrid, and French varieties. With wine, beer, aperitifs, and Sherries, there are plenty of drinks to warm you up.

Feel Better Food
And nothing accompanies java better than chocolate banana cake, Italian tartufu, apple strudel, or coffee cake, to list just some of the desserts on the menu. Next door is the Coffee Mill’s gourmet-to-go section, a quick service area with bar seating for those who are on the run.
