A full service flower shop, established in 1963 just north of the Beaches community, the people from City Flowers have been committed to building relationships that typically last through all phases of life – from bouquets in honor of newborn babies, to the blooms for a wedding banquet, to the floral requirements for a funeral. A diverse selection of gourmet gift baskets, cards, teddy bears, balloons and vases are always in stock, whether custom ordered in advance, or for a last-minute pick-up right before a celebration. The European tied style is used for roses and other fresh bouquets. For the longer-term, there’s a range of tropical plants.
Arrangements of Fun
City Flowers has a few signature novelty arrangements of note: A poodle made of commercial mums and alstromeria, a vase that combines calla lilies with barker bush and other foliage along with chocolates on skewers, and the “Sports Fan” arrangement, which is comprised of red and white gerberas, carnations, daisies and eucalyptus- along with the most recent issue of Sports Illustrated.
