At this charming inn, guests can experience the architectural beauty of the 1800’s but with all the modern comforts of today. Built in 1984, this mansion-turned-inn still retains its stunning ambiance and furnishings even after several recent renovations.
Victorian Vibes
Each of the 26 rooms, equipped with fine woodwork and a private four-piece bathroom, still maintains that turn-of-the-century elegance. Soft yellow and green paint cover the bedroom walls while dark burgundy colours match the Victorian mood of the hallway. Depending on your budget, Loma offers a range of accommodations to suit your preference. However, all rooms include air conditioning, a private four-piece bathroom, a fridge and microwave oven. Most rooms have large windows that give access to a view of the beautifully tended gardens. Other amenities available are Internet access, rooms with a jacuzzi and laundry facilities. For a truly memorable experience, ask about the queen room that is equipped with an antique 19th-century balcony and crystal class windows.
Gaga for Gargoyles
Etched-glass windows and carved gargoyles can be found around every corner, courtesy of its original owner. Back in the day, a wealthy downtown jeweler built his mansion to cater to his unique tastes. Now, even after years of renovations, the Loma maintains its former brilliance right down to the redbrick structure. This charming heritage home is centrally located amid a safe and quiet residential neighbourhood in the Annex. Just minutes away, you are walking distance from the famous Casa Loma Castle, the Royal Ontario Museum and the Yorkville shopping district.
