Where Everyone is a Celebrity
George Bigliardi runs a one-of-a-kind lounge restaurant featuring a dining room, private banquet rooms and a club made for betting on horses. George has adorned the walls with pictures of his celebrity patrons, but all guests are given a similarly attentive treatment by the tuxedo-wearing host. The savoury menu of prime beef, fresh seafood, veal, lamb, chicken and pasta is prepared and presented in a fashion that lives up to Mr. Bigliardi’s belief that every lunch or dinner can be a performance all its own. The second-floor facilities are perfect for business meetings, parties, award ceremonies and wedding banquets. Separate from the restaurant, yet accessible through an interior doorway, is the Champions Telewagering Club, which provides a heightened sense of after dinner entertainment or just a luxurious place to grab a drink.

Detailed Deliciousness
A meal at Bigliardi’s is prepared with meticulous detail, from the appetizers, to the wine list, to the selection of desserts. French onion soup au gratin, creamy lobster bisque and Caesar or Caprese salad top the list of appetizers. Oysters on the half shell, jumbo shrimp cocktail, smoked B.C. salmon and fresh steamed mussels marinara are also part of the starter list. Veal scaloppini, chicken breast and fettucine primavera dishes scratch the surface of entrees.

Steak That’s Worth a Stake
The more elaborate main courses from Bigliardi’s come directly from the charcoal broiler: New York sirloin, prime rib steak, filet mignon, grilled rack of lamb and spare ribs are each served with a choice of potato. And the Chateaubriand Bouquetiere is designed for two, carved right at the table. Seafood choices include Dover sole, grilled halibut steak and Atlantic salmon. Alaskan king crab, broiled lobster tail and fresh lobster are accompanied by rice pilaf, priced according to market rates, but served in a priceless fashion.
