Betty’s In the Middle of the Action
Betty’s is located in a nice old brick building on King Street East. The street, which is a rising star in Toronto, is not far from Yonge, close to the Distillery District, and near The Esplanade - making Betty’s close to everything in the east end. A nice joint with big leafy patio tucked away in the back and enough space inside to house a small community of its own, there are enough nooks to drink your pint without being noticed. The bar proudly displays a range of beers on tap and a load of brightly coloured bottles behind the bar, ready to make any drink you crave.

Bet’ On Pub Grub
Betty’s offers good hearty sandwiches, like the tuna salad or the Klub Fred (with swiss cheese, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and mayo, on white) all served with fries or a salad for a bit extra. There is also a range of burgers, a chicken pot or shepherd’s pie and a few veggie dishes tucked under each of the subheadings. They also have group party menu (call ahead to chat with them about it) which includes the basic goodies like sausage rolls and chicken fingers, but get a little adventurous with their offering of vegetarian sushi.

Get off Betty’s Back!
Betty’s space is divided into a few different areas. The first floor is split into two different levels. The upstairs is devoted to a cool little private room which has it’s own bar, pool table, and an arcade game. It is especially for private parties and has a good amount of room. If you are not part of a big group, check out the patio in the back which is also decently sized. It is tucked away from King Street (which can get a little busy and dusty in the summer months) and the trees that hang lazily over the patio offer shade for those who are sensitive to the sun’s rays. Sit back, have a pint, and enjoy all that Ms.Betty has to offer.
