Love is in the Air
Romance is everywhere at Barracuda’s from the candlelit tables to the delicately prepared dishes made to share to the subtle music in the air. Delectable Italian dishes, made with the most discerning eye, are meant to be slowly devoured at an intimate corner table. Since bursting on the scene, this hotspot has garnered a reputation for serving up some of the freshest fare around. It isn’t difficult to fall in love…with this place.

Sherry baby
Barracuda’s medium-sized menu focuses on passed down recipes that have a certain “je ne sais quois” about them. On the appetizer menu, discover a flavourful Caesar salad loaded with crisp romaine hearts, parmesan cheese, pancetta bacon and house-made dressing. Your typical mixed green salad gets a makeover when topped with delicately prepared honey mustard and sherry vinaigrette. Savour crispy fried calamari with a horseradish aioli, escargot drenched in brandy cream sauce, and gourmet crab cakes served with a chili crème fraiche.

Good for the Sole
You won’t find any frozen pastas here. This restaurant’s pastas dishes are delicately topped with homemade sauces such as a white wine cream gorgonzola cheese, and roasted tomato basil. Game eaters are in luck because you’ll find a small but selective selection of meaty delicacies. Discover Angus rib eye steak served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and crispy duck confit in a port wine reduction. Not to be missed is the gorgonzola crusted Angus beef tenderloin topped with red wine jus and served with tempura battered onion rings. If fish is more your forte the sole stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp baked in a sherry-cream sauce is simply divine.
