The gallery also offers and art rental and sales program that provides inspiring pieces for any home or office.
Stimulating Residents
Art Gallery of Mississauga was established in 1987 as a not-for-profit charitable organization. Volunteers and staff have a particular dedication to artists that reside in the city of Mississauga, and city residents have their knowledge and interest in the visual arts stimulated by educational programs. Gallery members receive benefits like invitations to exclusive events, a quarterly newsletter, discounts on publication, and free admission to other galleries around Ontario.
Artistic Atmosphere
The art rental and sales program from the Art Gallery of Mississauga features a diversity of works that can be bought or borrowed. The gallery also plays host to a noon hour concert series featuring chamber music played by solo performers, duos, trios and quartets. There is also an annual art auction enhanced by a creative selection of hors d’oeuvres, sushi, beer, wine and inspirational sweets.
