A casual new take in the tradition of Susur Lee’s first Toronto restaurant location, Lotus, Amuse Bouche offers cuisine for the curious palate with its own brand of casual comfort. This warm and intimate room of dark wood and white linen makes satisfied diners of everyone. From nearby neighbours to the theatre crowd, and even the city’s most adventurous gourmands, many find an incentive to come here. This diverse and eclectic clientele relishes in the culinary intricacies of Amuse Bouche’s tasting menus, as well as the delights of their à la carte fare and unique wine list.
Fresh Concepts and Contents
Freshness and appropriateness are two of the highlights of the Amuse Bouche dining experience. Four, five and seven course tasting menus highlight the freshest and best from the à la carte menu as well as some interesting daily twists. Also on the menu is a fine selection of cheeses, stored in-house at optimum temperatures for tasting. In addition, one of the two house chefs is also a noted pastry chef who ensures that everything from the bread with dinner to the menu’s decadent pastries and desserts are freshly prepared each and every day.
Flexible Wine, Flexible Dine
To complement the perfect meal, Amuse Bouche has developed an extensive and original wine list. With a variety of vintages, but an absence of more standard wines, the staff is more than happy to suggest a glass or a bottle to best suit your palate and your meal. If you choose, you can bring your own favourite bottle and, upon request, the chefs will customize their tasting menu to suit your selection of vintage. Similar accommodations are happily made for vegan diners or those with special diet considerations. Admitted gourmands themselves, the young and close knit staff help complete a warm and comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy for everyone to keep their attention on the food.
