Solid Wood
From its 18,500 square foot showroom location, Acacia Fine Furniture features Canadian-made solid wood furniture, crafted with cherry, maple, birth or oak. The collections include kitchen tables, chairs, bedroom suites, dining room suites, entertainment units, coffee and end tables as well as television consoles designed for the wider screens of today. The expansive store allows shoppers to check out the individual room settings and gain some inspiration for new decorating ideas.

Designing Warmth
Custom made sofas and chairs are a key part of Acacia’s home furnishings selection, with frames constructed of solid wood klin dried maple, crafted to be a perfect fit in any space. There’s a large choice of fabric and leather options and the seat and back cushions are offered in soft, medium or hard high-density foam. The store also displays elegant electric fireplaces, including the most realistic technology, bringing romance and relaxation into the home with no firewood required. There’s also an Acacia Kids category with designs for boys and girls, from toddlers to teens, including several different types of bunk beds.

Built To Last
Acacia Fine Furniture prides itself on creating items that will last several decades, while incorporating many functional features. For example, the cabinet corners are blocked for strength, the tabletops incorporate a network of support blocks and chair frames are braced for long-lasting strength and safety. Structural stability is provided through the mortise and tendon construction techniques that keep two pieces of wood joined together forever. Drawers are connected with a dovetail joint guaranteed to remain tight and snug after thousands of pulls and the tabletops are mounted to aprons made of solid wood. Features on specific items include adjustable interior lights, thick glass, felt-lined jewellery trays, graduated draws, adjustable shelves and electronic connections.
