High on the Hill
A slightly upscale pub on the edge of uptown, the Abbott is steps from the Summerhill subway station, making it the perfect pub to grab a drink and a bite to eat on blustery nights and breezy summer evenings alike. The beer selection focuses on European ales and lagers but there’s almost always something new on one of the bar’s 17 taps. You’ll find draught selections ranging from Old Speckled Hen, Warsteiner Lager, Fruli Strawberry Weisse, Guinness, Tuborg Gold and Konig Ludwig Weisse. Pub food is served the way it should be –good and greasy- without compromising on flavour or flair. Filling comfort foods abound including halibut and chips, shepherd’s pie, and bangers and mash.

Candlelit and Cozy
In the tradition of any good pub, the bar has a dark wood-grain trim that shines in muted lamplight and an incredible, old-fashioned tin roof. It’s the kind of place you want to curl up in for an evening with good friends. Another bonus is the excellent staff. Regulars and first-timers alike are always impressed by the quick and friendly service of the proficient, likeable staff.

Kick Back and Relax
There are two floors at the Abbott; the first floor usually accommodates a drinking crowd, while the second floor is usually reserved for diners. On Monday nights you can try the professionally-matched prix fixe menu. For $60 you’ll get a meal consisting of five courses, complete with a new, complementary beer selection for each course.
