Abbey Lane is run by a 30-year veteran of the veterinary industry! Dr. Janet Walters and her daughter manage the kennels and understand that your pooch is part of the family. That’s why they work so hard to provide your pet with an exceptional kennel experience. All 32 of the kennels at Abbey Lane have outside runs with lengths of 22 feet. Dogs and cats are let into their outside runs three times a day, weather permitting, in addition to any exercise and play time they get in an adjacent, enclosed yard. Extra exercise time is available for an increased lodging fee and can include individual walks, one-on-one play time and brushing.
Paired Pets get a Discount
Abbey Lane feeds all their guests Medi-cal products but if you’ve got a fussy eater or you’re looking to save some cash, bring your own food for a 10% discount. If you’ve got a pair of pets who get along they can stay in the same kennel and you’ll enjoy a 20% discount.
Health and Safety
In the case of an ailing animal, just let Abbey Lane know of your pets’ condition when you reserve. Kennel staff will administer medication at no extra cost. If the condition is severe, such as in the case of diabetes, you’ll need to consult with staff to discuss administration and cost. Please be aware that Abbey Lane requires all cats and dogs to have current rabies vaccinations, as well as Bordatella (dogs) and upper respiratory (cats).
