What Is It?
While walking by Stychin Tyme, it is not immediately apparent what sort of store it is. Although there are sewing machines by the window and bolts of threads on the wall, you still can’t be sure what the store is about until you walk in and ask.

A Stitch In Time Saves Nine!
Expert tailoring and alterations from experienced seamstresses is what you’ll get at Stychin Tyme. Depending on their daily to-do lists, alterations can be finished in a matter of hours to days later. Interestingly, there are no price lists to be found at Stychin Tyme. Prices for services vary, according to the seamstress’ whim and abilities. Pant hemming, taking in pants, skirts, dresses, mending blouses, sewing buttons, making patches – just about anything can be done within reason.

While-You-Wait
The store isn’t quite like anything else you’ve experienced. The women who work there are warm and friendly, and a touch bawdy – who says sewing has to be boring? One of the proprietors is from the British Isles, and this apparent from the unique window display. Knick knacks from the United Kingdom, such as porcelain bulldogs, an empty tin of pipe-snuff, coin banks of red post-boxes, a bust of Winston Churchill, British flags and Beefeater statues attract the eye.
