Collectible card games, board games, toys and sports cards fill the shelves and line the walls at 401 Games, which also offers playing space for everyone interested in trying out the merchandise. Popular games include Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dungeons and Dragons, Shadowfist, Heroclix and Horrorclix, plus all the graphic action figures designed by Todd MacFarlane.
Different Worlds
401 Games focuses on strategy titles, like the entire family of Settlers of Catan, and games based on the universes of J.R.R. Tolkien, Jordan’s Wheel of Time series, and World of Warcraft. Pokemon trading cards, the Universal Fighting System, the VS system, and miniature sets from Dreamblade, Star Wars and Axis & Allies are also featured. The freshest sets of hockey, baseball, basketball and football cards are available alongside sealed collectible sets from years past.
Game Playing
Traditional board games are also a fixture of 401 Games, including Power Grid, Puerto Rico, Ticket to Ride, Age of Empires, Colosseum, Tide of Iron and dozens more dedicated to role playing, mystery solving and resource building. The store’s playing area can accommodate up to 60 people for tournaments, which include regular Yu-Gi-Oh! Events and rounds of Magic: The Gathering, events that are popular in this centrally located store, which stays open late every night.
